Your role as a product developer

At Combitech in Östersund, we look forward to strengthening our team with a product developer specializing in mechanical design. As a product developer with us, you will be active throughout the entire process, from the idea stage to the finished product, and we value a positive work climate and a strong sense of belonging within the team. We offer a stimulating and creative work environment where you can develop unique, high-tech products. Since you will contribute to building a new competence in mechanical design at the office, we prefer that you have extensive experience in leading both yourself and others. You should have experience working independently while being a reliable team player. Through Combitech's solid competence in mechanical design at other locations, you will be part of networks and contexts where support is available, both in product development and discipline expertise.

Who are you?

You are a communicative person who takes initiative and thrives in project-based work. You easily build good relationships and have a relevant university degree, for example in mechanical engineering. A few years of work experience, particularly in automotive, marine, military, or industrial applications. In this role, you will work closely with calculations, production, validation, and system suppliers. You master at least one of the CAD systems CATIA, CREO, or NX.

As the position involves work that is subject to defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security screening with a background check.
